How to add breast support to a swimsuit
Do you love a swimsuit but feel like it needs a little more breast support so you’re not flashing people at the pool? I totally get it! Here are a few ways to add additional breast security and support to your swimsuit.
Boob tape
Adding breast support to a swimsuit is essential for many women. It can help them feel more comfortable and secure while swimming, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the outdoors. But what kind of support should you look for? One of the best solutions is brassy boob tape.
Brassy boob tape is a strapless, self-adhesive tape that can be applied directly to the skin. It is designed to provide extra support for breasts without the need for a bulky bra or another undergarment.
The tape is strong and flexible enough to give you the freedom of movement you need when swimming or engaging in any other physical activity. The best thing about it is that it’s waterproof, so you won’t have to worry about the tape coming off in the pool or ocean.

For my bachelorette, I wanted to wear an ultra-sexy swimsuit, but my h-cup bust said absolutely NOT. I was able to wear my swimsuit thanks to boob tape, which held my boobs up.
The great thing about boob tape is that a lot of different brands are waterproof, so you can go into the pool with your boob tape. However, I found brassy bra is not sweatproof, so if you’re going to be sweating a lot, it’s possible the tape will peel.
However, I found Brassy bra did what it needed to do for my swimsuit. Additionally, you can cut bra tape so that you can cut it to the size you need to fit your swimsuit.

If you look close enough on the left side, you can see where my bra tape started to show.
However, once I adjusted the bra, you couldn’t see it anymore, so if you find you need some additional support for your swimsuit, consider boob tape!
How to apply brassy boob tape for your swimsuit
To apply brassy boob tape correctly, start by measuring your rib cage and bust area. You can use a flexible measuring tape for this.
Once you know your measurements, you can choose the size that best fits your frame. When you have the right size, cut a strip of tape in half and place it between the cups of your swimsuit.
Make sure the adhesive side is facing outwards so that it adheres to your skin. You can also add two strips on either side of each cup for extra support.
Be sure to apply the tapes carefully and press them against your skin so that they stick firmly. You can also use double-sided fashion tape to keep the fabric of your swimsuit in place.
Place two strips of tape on either side of the bottom edge of each cup, and then attach it to the inside of the fabric. This will help to keep everything secure while you are swimming.
Sticky Bra
Another option for additional breast support for your swimsuit is a sticky bra. Sticky bras are designed to be attached directly to your breasts and can provide an extra layer of support and comfort.
They come in a variety of styles, so you can choose one that will fit your needs. Sticky bras are also an easy way to add breast support without compromising the look of your swimsuit. Just make sure to follow the instructions on how to attach them properly, and you’ll be ready for a comfortable day in the water.
Sew-in cups
If you don’t want to go the tape route, you can also sew-in in cups When sewing in cups, it is important to use a suit material that is compatible with the cup material.
The wrong combination of materials will cause discomfort and may even damage the suit fabric or cups. Additionally, it is important to use both the correct needle and thread for the job. For example, a heavy-duty cotton thread is best when working with nylon fabric. In terms of what type of cups to use, it largely depends on the size and shape of your breasts.
Underwire bra cups can be used for larger busts, while soft cups are more suitable for smaller ones. It is also important to select a cup size that will offer enough coverage and support with minimal compression.

Tighten straps
Another way to add breast support to your swimsuit is by adjusting your bra straps. If your straps are adjustable, you can make them tighter. This will help to provide additional support and increase the amount of lift. You can also try using a sports bra or a racerback-style clip. These will help to make your straps tighter in the back.
Conclusion:
When shopping for a swimsuit that fits sagging breasts, it is important to look for a suit with support and coverage to help keep the chest area looking firm.
Consider finding a cut or style with adjustable straps, mesh lining in the bust area, or underwire to lift your bust up.
